On the passing of our founding Music Director and Life Member, Nancy Ovenden, the committee of management thought it appropriate to create the Nancy Ovenden Perpetual Trophy to be awarded each year at the Annual General Meeting to an outstanding band member who displays all of the characteristics that Nancy lived by - dedication to the band, continued improvement of musicianship and outstanding commitment to community music making.
