Southern Area Concert Band
About Our Band
Southern Area Concert Band is a 45 plus piece concert band comprising of woodwind, brass and percussion. Led by professional music educator and conductor Dr. Andrew Mathers since 2019, the Concert Band suits players at AMEB Grade 4 standard and above. We are a competing ensemble (Open "B" Grade Concert Band division) winning many awards over our 40 year history.

You can find Southern Area Concert Band performing throughout the City of Kingston at local festivals, our annual performances, Christmas carols and community outdoor events.
