Southern Area Concert Band is forever grateful for the support from the City of Kingston, however we also run a continuing fundraising program to supplement the generous council grant to enable us to provide quality music to the community.

Container Deposit Scheme Donations
Support the concert band and the environment by donating your bottles and cans
through the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme. Each eligible container you recycle
can be turned into valuable funds for the band, helping us invest in instruments, sheet
music, and rehearsal costs. Your contributions will keep the music playing and ensure our
band remains a vibrant part of the community.
It’s easy to make a difference—just collect your eligible drink containers and drop them off
at a participating collection point. Use the Vic East CDS app and search for the SOUTHERN AREA WIND BAND INCORPORATED or use the donation partner ID C2000029502.
When you donate the refund to the band, you’re
supporting local arts and promoting sustainability. Together, let’s turn recyclables into
remarkable melodies and keep our band playing strong!
